There are small groups of Starling roosting at the lake, with 6 pre roost flocks seen (5 of the groups were in excess of double figures: max of 30 birds single flock, minimum of 5 birds single flock), and they buzz Herriott’s a fair bit before going in, if any of those flocks had a Rose Coloured Starling in amongst them, it'd be picked out very easily. Seems worth the effort, given the current influx, for someone who fancies getting a 1st for CVL! Advise being there no later than 20.45 on a fine day like todayReports: Paul Bowerman, Alastair Fraser, John Geldard, Rob Hargreaves, Nick Hawkridge, Lucy Masters, Aravind Ramesh, Carol Rushton, Ian Stapp, Christopher Teague.
