Avon Gorge - early:
2 Peregrine - ad perched in the dead tree above the nest site. The juv was whizzing around below the nearside edge, but couldn't see what was its target.

Bishopston - gardens:
1 Kestrel - rare here, 1 Jay, 1 Skylark - over early, singing

Redland Hill Roundabout:
6 House Martin

Southville:Lesser Black-backed Gull + family - from yesterday - to continue the story; Stopped migrating in 2001, most often seen at rubbish tips. It's young have been rescued from the adjacent garden on 3 successive years. Well done the gull angel.

St Phillips - Sparke Evans Park:
1 Chiffchaff, 2 Blackcap and close by in the reeds on the R Avon - 1 Reed Warbler - singing.

1 Yellowhammer - singing and quite a rarity in these parts
