Ringing Station:
Quite a nice recapture of a Goldfinch this morning. Ringed here in Nov 2016 as a bird hatched that year and sexed as a female. She was recaptured in Dec 2017. Today, unless she goes for a late brood, her brood patch indicates that the breeding season is coming to an end for her.

Garden,between 14.00 and 14.30 - significant numbers of migrants, including 15 Chiffchaff, 2 minimum Willow Warbler, 16 Long-tailed Tit (many juvs), 5 Goldcrest. Also family parties of Blue and Great Tit. A female Sparrowhawk scattered a lot of the birds.
