AVON BIRD REPORT 2019
Copies of the 2019 edition of the Avon Bird Report will be available in the next week; if you are not a member of either BOC or BNS I would encourage you to obtain a copy. One way to do this is as follows: by post, please send your name, address and a cheque for £11.50 made out to AOG to
Arncliffe, Coast Road, Walton Bay, Clevedon, BS21 7FW
Arncliffe, Coast Road, Walton Bay, Clevedon, BS21 7FW
The Report is the longest ever, at 216 pages, and also earlier than usual due at least partly to Covid-19 -- this year contributors have had more time on their hands...
There are three papers: Waterbirds on Severnside, Barn Owls, and tits in the Gordano Valley, plus the usual items including the AWBS, BBS and ringing reports. The cover photo, by David Hughes, was taken at CVL last summer.

A note to photographers...
The 2019 Report contains as usual about 30 photographs; we received quite a few but we felt that we could have had more. So if you have any good bird pictures taken in Avon in 2020 that you would like to see published, these can be sent now, or any time up to the end of the year, to my ABR e-mail address: blacktgodwit@gmail.com
Thank you!
