12-01-23 Thursday - Kittiwake & Little Gull again

Temp 11° but feeling chillier in the strong wind and heavy showers.  Precious little sign of any sun breaking through - rotten weather for birding.

Redland:
3 Herring Gull, 2 Woodpigeon, 1 m. Sparrowhawk bathing in pond, 2 Blue Tit, 2 Great Tit, 1 Robin, 10 House Sparrow.

Stoke Park:
113 Black-headed Gull, 6 Common Gull.

Victoria Park:
6 Common Gull.  (BH, HGs and LBB Gulls are regular at this site but have never seen this species here before.)

1 Kittiwake, 1 Snipe

13 Pintail, 1 ad. Little Gull, 10 Kittiwake, 1 Black Redstart.

Portbury Wharf:
10 Avocet.

Portishead:
f. Blackcap (in the garden, and I'm going nowhere else in this weather)

Gordano Valley:
30 Raven.

Clevedon - Yeo:
92 Canada Goose, 4 Shoveler, 2 m. Goosander (Strode Road bridge), 80 BH Gull, 40 Herring Gull, 1 LBB Gull, 1 Yellow-legged Gull, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Cattle Egret, 36 Little Egret, 1 Kingfisher (sluice), 1 Green Woodpecker, Peregrine, 2 Kestrel, 60 Fieldfare, 1 Rock Pipit, 2 Greenfinch.
