Temminck's Stint is still a rarity in Avon. At best we only get 1 bird every few years or so. Last recorded October 2015 at Blagdon Lake.
Waders/Terns: Some noted coastal movements at Shepperdine and Severnside today.
Redpoll: A bit of an influx at Sand Pt in the last few days. 20 on 6th, 40 on 7th, 50 on 8th.
Weather outlook: More easterly winds for the next few days which is good for coastal migration.

Cuckoo: Around 6 birds calling widely around the lake today.
