To brighten up the day ; one correspondent sent this in after he returned from Israel recently and we've been waiting for a chance to include it. A wide angle lens on the camera to capture churches - and this fluttered in.

Severn Beach:
1 Goldeneye, drifting downriver on very gloomy day. (making 200 species for TBOSG)
Newton Park:
6 Teal, 50 Mallard, 8 Goosander, 2 Grey Heron, 2 Buzzard, 120 Black-headed Gull, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Kestrel, 3 Goldcrest, 2 Coal Tit, 5 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Nuthatch, 15 Blackbird, 5 Fieldfare, 2 Song Thrush, 30 Redwing, 3 Mistle Thrush, 2 Stonechat, 1 Grey Wagtail, 5 Meadow Pipit, 10 Chaffinch, 8 Bullfinch, 25 Goldfinch.

Blagdon Lake:
3 Bewick's Swan, 1 Egyptian Goose, 10+ Little Egret, 6 Great White Egret, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Stonechat, and a bit of a coup, 1 Water Pipit.
Chew Valley Lake:
1 Ring-necked Duck, 11 Scaup (inc 7 ♂), 10c Great White Egret, 1 Black-necked Grebe, 1 Jack Snipe.
Heron's Green Bay:
1 Bittern (seen from the road), 3 Little Egret, 6 Great White Egret, 1 Grey Heron. At least one of all four were seen in one small patch of reeds.
Moreton:
5 Bewick's Swan, 1 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Buzzard,
Herriotts End:
1 Woodcock.
