Chew Valley Lake:

2 (pair) Egyptian Geese with two chicks, 5 Scaup (3 m, 2 f),  1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Kestrel, 1 Dunlin, 1 sum plum Green Sandpiper, 4 Common Sandpipers, 100 Sand Martins, 15 Swallows, 1 House Martin, 2 Reed Warblers, 1 Wheatear, 1 m White Wagtail. A fairly uneventful day until 3 pm when a flock of 10 summer plumaged Cattle Egrets flew in from the north and started feeding on the grass in Heron's Green Bay in front of Moreton Cottage
