Ham Green:
1 Grey Heron, 3 Song Thrush, influx of 9 Willow Warbler mostly singing, 4 Jay, Bullfinch.

SOUTH GLOUCESTERSHIRE

Oldbury Power Station:
Peregrine pair, 1 Grey Plover, 1 Sandwich Tern (downriver at 9:30 a.m.), 1 Wheatear (yacht club), 5 singing Willow Warbler, Mistle Thrush (orchard), 4 Jay.

Littleton Warth:
Shelduck, Wigeon, Teal, 1 Grey Plover, 3 Dunlin, Curlew, Green Woodpecker, 4+ Skylark, 1 Swallow, 1 Grey Wagtail, 2 Wheatear, 3 Blackcap, 2 Willow Warbler, 3+ Chiffchaff.

Aust Warth:
Short-eared Owl.

New Passage/Northwick Warth/Pilning Wetland:
2 Little Egret, 1 dark-bellied Brent Goose, 5 Little Ringed Plover, 3 Black-tailed Godwit, 120+ Redshank, 100+ Turnstone, 1 tern sp downriver (see the Oldbury entry above?), 2 Short-eared Owl, 5+ (up to 8) Water Pipit (most in intermediate to summer plumage), 1 Swallow, 60+ Sand Martin, 3 White Wagtail, 8 Willow Warbler singing. 


NORTH SOMERSET:

Clevedon:
1 Sparrowhawk, first singing Willow Warbler and Chiffchaff (near Asda).

Tyntesfield:
1 Buzzard, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 4 Wren, 1 Mistle Thrush, 3 Song Thrush, 4 Chiffchaff, 2 Treecreeper, 2 Raven,

Sand Point:
2 Little Egret, 10 distant waders (observer suggested Black-tailed Godwit but probably Curlew). 2 Curlew, 2 Skylark, 2 Stonechat, 4 Chiffchaff.

Plumley Park/Summer lane pond:
Little Egret, Buzzard, 8 Chiffchaff, 5 Blackcap, 2 Bullfinch, 1 Reed Bunting.

Uphill:
4 Chiffchaff, 4 Willow Warbler.


BELOW M4 & BANES

Bath (Audley Park):
13 Willow Warbler feeding on silver birch trees (only 7 yesterday), 2 Siskin.

Paulton:
2 Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 1 Green Woodpecker, 5 Skylark, 2 Dipper, 4 Meadow Pipit, 1 Wheatear, 8 Chiffchaff, 3 Blackcap, 1 Treecreeper, 4 Linnet, 7 Yellowhammer.

RESERVOIRS:

First Reed Warbler of the year at CVRS
Chew Valley Lake:
Reed Warbler - first bird of the day for the CVRS.

Dam:
1 Common Gull, 50+ Sand Martin, 2 Chiffchaff.

Heron's Green:
1 Little Grebe, 2 Goldeneye, 400+ Sand Martins (going towards Blagdon). 1 Cetti's Warbler, 2 Chiffchaff, 2 Reed Bunting.
