2 Chiffchaff, 3 Whitethroat, plenty of Skylark and Meadow Pipit showing well despite the blustery wind
New Passage/Northwick Warth:
43 Shelduck plus a group of babies, 17 Oyster Catchers, 1 Canada Goose. Out tide
2 Little Egrets, 3 Little Grebes, 2 Little Ringed Plovers, 1 Teal, Tufted Duck plus 5 juvs, Coots and young, Moorhen and young.

Severn Beach:
Common Scoter (m) drifting up on the tide
Common Scoter (John Martin)

NORTH SOMERSET:

No reports

BELOW M4 & BANES

Hanham:
20+ Swift, 3 Whitethroat, 6 Goldfinch, 1 Buzzard, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker. Lots small tortoishell and different dragonfly

Newton St Loe:
Heron, Mute Swan  and cygnets, Mallard, Moorhen

1 Egyptian Goose, 323 Canada Goose, 322 Coot, 2 Shelduck, 3 Gadwall, 5 Heron, Buzzard,
Cuckoo, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 Spotted  Flycatcher, 2 Grey Wagtail

Chew Valley Lake:

Heron's Green:
Little Egret and Heron,

Herriotts End:
Little Egret, Heron, 4 Shelduck, 3 Shoveler, many Gadwall, 2 Buzzard, 2 Herring Gull, 2 Pied Wagtail, lots of House Martins on Pool, 100's Swifts, some House Martin and a Sand Martin on Lake. Midday sun drove them mostly away.
