Yellow Legged Gull - (hard to be certain in bright sunlight but it looked right - too pale for LBB but had yellow legs), Woodpigeon, Rooks, Magpie, Dunnock - lots of song, 4 Skylark - airborne & singing, Blackbird, 1 Redwing. 1 Song Thrush singing, Robin, lots of common tits, 20+ House Sparrow, 8 Chaffinch, 12 Goldfinch, 1 Reed Bunting (f)

I watched a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming on the fence into Moreton Hide and realised it was a female - I didn't know females drummed, I thought it was only males. The drumming was phenomenally loud.
