4 Peregrine - inc 2 juv

Redland - Garden:
2 Collared Dove, Woodpigeon, 12 Swift, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker  - juv - peanut eater, 1 Jay, 1st Blue Tit for a while, Great Tit, 1 Blackbird, 1 Robin, 6 House Sparrow, 2 Goldfinch.

SOUTH GLOUCESTERSHIRE

Oldbury Power Station:
3 Oystercatcher, 3 Lapwing, 58 Curlew, 2 Dunlin, 3 Redshank, 350 Black headed Gull, 1 Kestrel, 55 Swallow.

Pilning wetland:
15 Shelduck - juv in a creche, 1 Little Grebe, some Oystercatcher, 3 Little Ringed Plover, 30 + Redshank, 1 Kestrel, Swallow, House Martin, Linnet

Oystercatcher, Mistle Thrush

Gordano Valley - inc Clapton:
1 Red Kite - circling at 15:50 - distinctive notch from missing feather on right wing, 1 Buzzard, 2 Coot - with at least one chick, 6 Herring Gull, 6 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Hobby - passerines keeping a low profile!

Clevedon-Yeo:
20 Mute Swan - at KP, 8 Shelduck - assume most have left to moult + 25 well grown chicks, 80 Mallard, 10 Tufted Duck - at KP, 3 Little Egret, 1 Cormorant, 2 Coot, 16 Oystercatcher, 24 Lapwing - at TEP, 2 Whimbrel - at least, 35 Curlew, 15 Dunlin, 2 Common Sandpiper, 130 Redshank - 85 at TEP, 240+ Black-headed Gull, 20 Herring Gull, 15 LBB Gull, 2 Swift, 1 Kestrel, 5 Pied Wagtail, 1 Rock Pipit, 20 Linnet.

Backwell Lake:
1 Kingfisher, 80 Jackdaw, 1 Mistle Thrush - singing beautifully and clearly visible.

Weston-Super-Mare - Milton:
1 Red Kite - heading east 11:40

BELOW M4 & BANES

Oldland Common:
1 Red Kite - 15:00, 30+ Swift circling over the house.

Marshfield:
2 Quail - heard Northfield Lane during the afternoon, 20+ Corn Bunting - lots of Butterflies.

Ringing Station - CES session:
71 birds in total: 37 Reed Warbler topped the numbers, but 2 Lesser Whitethroat (juv) are always welcome.
