Eastville Park:
2 Canada Goose, 1 Mute Swan, 61 Mallard, 1 juv. Goosander, 3 Grey Heron (2 juv.), 4 Moorhen, 10 BH Gull, Herring Gull, LBB Gull, 10 Stock Dove, 2 Nuthatch, 1 Grey Wagtail.
(Last year there was an August record of Goosander at OPS, all other records occurred in winter.)
Stoke Park, Duchess Pond:
5 Canada Goose, 54 Mallard, Buzzard, c.10 Swift, 2 Swallow, 6 Chiffchaff (probably a family group), 1 Lesser Whitethroat.
Finzels Reach:
Just the adult male and the juvenile Peregrine. LBB and Herring Gulls, colony of House Sparrow.
High Kingsdown:
SOUTH GLOUCESTERSHIRE
Oldbury Power Station:
A late brood of 7 Tufted Duck ducklings, 2 juv. Cetti's Warbler, 2 juv. Willow Warbler.
Tortworth and Avening Green:
3 Stock Dove, 12 Woodpigeon, 3 Green Woodpecker, 4 Carrion Crow, 2 Raven, 9 House Martin (6 active nests), 5 Chiffchaff calling, 2 Wren, 2 Blackbird, 2 Song Thrush (ad feeding juv,), 1 Robin, 2 Bullfinch, 8 Goldfinch inc 3 juv.
Chipping Sodbury Common:
Kestrel, Green Woodpecker, 2 Common Redstart, Reed Bunting.

Portishead:
Herring Gull nests at the marina: one with two well grown chicks, another with 3 young birds.
