11/2/16 Gulls & Crow at Aust Warth (Ed Drewitt)
Another big tide today, flooding out all the voles & providing rich pickings for the Gulls, Crows and Short-eared Owl

Open Space: 1 Sparrowhawk, 2 Jay, 12 Long-tailed Tit, 8 Fieldfare, 5 Song Thrush, 1 Chaffinch, 3 Greenfinch, 5 Goldfinch.

Bishopsworth (Bristol):
Manor Woods: 11 Long-tailed Tit, 3 Song Thrush, 2 Greenfinch, 1 Bullfinch.
Crox Bottom: 1 Goldcrest, 3 Long-tailed Tit, 3 Song Thrush, 1 Redwing, 3 Grey Wagtail, 4 Goldfinch.

1 Kingfisher.

Badminton Rd/Park Lane: 1 Barn Owl out 5.30pm

New Passage-Northwick:
Little Egret: 13 birds today (including a flock of 12), a new patch record. First recorded on Severnside in 1993 so great stuff and a good sign of how well this species is thriving in Avon nowadays.

Blagdon Lake:
At least 2 Egyptian Goose, 1 Greylag Goose, 3 Black-necked Grebe, 4 Buzzard, 4 Snipe, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Otter (Top End). No further report of the Bittern seen yesterday.

Little Egret: 16 birds in the cow field at Heron's Green.
