Martyn found the bird on 12 April and very sensibly got it checked out by others before going public.
It was only seen briefly and flew off after a short while and did not linger.Summary:
New birds into Avon today were Common Tern, Cuckoo (both Planet Chew) and Channel Wagtail (Northwick Warth).
2 flyover Red Kite and 73 White Wagtail (Northwick Warth) also very noteworthy.
