The Smew still at Chipping Sodbury, we believe the south Glos boys may have anchored it there.

Falcon sp: an odd looking bird seen, basically it looked like a Hobby in plumage but Kestrel in structure and shape (David Gibbs). Please let us know if you see it anywhere. Thanks.

Planet Chew:
Mandarin Duck: 1 drake new at Herriott's Pool.
Black-necked Grebe: 1 still off Nunnery Pt/Heron's Green Bay now into summer plumage.
Little Gull: 4 birds early on, then at least 14 birds off Woodford/Stratford this evening. Good views especially from Stratford (Sean Davies, Mike Jenkins).
